A rod built on a blank from the now defunct Diamondback fly rod company. The Diamondback fiberglass blanks were made from S-glass resulting in slightly lighter weight blanks that cast effortlessly. Destined to become classics. Guides were wrapped with gray silk thread and tipped white. Reel seat hardware is the ADS series from REC with California Buckeye burl wood insert. Snake Brand agate striping guide and Perfection brand snakes guides and tip top complete the rod.

Of all the Lamiglas fiberglass rods this one’s my favorite. Delightfully smooth casting blank that is very comfortable with both 3&4 wt lines.
A Lamiglas 7'6? 4wt made for a Gentleman overseas who carefully chose the components and grip. Reel seat is a REC nickel silver nsds with stabilized Box Elder insert, Cigar cork grip overwrapped with Rattan, nickel silver winding check. Hook keeper, and ferrules are wrapped with white silk with rust red colored thread spiraled over. The white silk turned absolutely water clear when the finish was applied to it. A Gorgeous red banded agate stripping guide and Perfection brand snake guides wrapped in Pearsall’s Jasper thread complete the rod.
